WHO’S STATUS IS THE BADDEST?

CELLYBRAIN is a cell phone photo game where members can upload cell phone photos and either earn or lose ratings points.

Other members can score them, share them, and comment on them.

Who can join? Anyone.

HOW TO DO

- Register. Make a Profile. Best to do this from a desktop computer. Cropping tool for profile pic doesn’t work on a mobile.

- Until we have an app, we have to post photos by email. If you can send email from your phone, then yes you can use your phone.

- Send an email (using the same email from your profile) to : masterblaster@cellybrain.com

- The system will match your email to your profile.

- You have to put a title in the subject line or it won’t work. (MANDATORY)

- You can put a caption in the body of the email. (OPTIONAL)

- Attach your photo to the email.

- Boom, done.

NOTES

*The system scans for emails only once every 10 mins. So if your photo doesn’t pop up right away, don’t trip.

*The system scans for new emails from new email addresses. If you send a bunch at once, it will only post the newest one. So, just send 1 once like every 10 mins.

*Seems to work best with photos as attachments to emails, not inline or mms to email. Text to email does not work. Works best on smart phones.

*Won’t work if you are sending to mulitiple email addresses or if your forwarding an email.

*Max upload is about 1.3 mbs. Won’t work if files are bigger than this.

*Until we get more bandwidth, servers space, ram, etc I’d say don’t post more than 7 photos a day.

*Video upload does not work properly.. yet.

*If you are an iphone or android app developer, we could use your help! Please send an email.

*This network is brand new and undergoing development, please let us know if you encounter any problems.

PUBLICATIONS

We regularly put out a zine called “CELLYBRAIN” based on all the best photos submitted. It is published by Hamburger Eyes. If you upload photos, especially good ones, know that it will be printed and you will be contacted and get free copies.
